Student First Aid

The course provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid treatment.

Service Description

Overview The Student First Aid qualification will provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid treatment confidently and safely. Duration A minimum of three contact hours in the classroom, consisting of practical and theoretical activities. Ideally, the course should be run over half a day (3 hours), but the syllabus can be divided into 3 x 1-hour sessions, spread over a 12-month period. Syllabus A range of subjects are covered including: • What is first aid? • Primary survey • Recovery position • Resuscitation and AED • Choking • Common Injuries Certification The practical assessment is ongoing throughout the duration of the course and the learners will be required to complete a multiple-choice question assessment paper at the end of the programme. A three-year qualification can be offered to all, subject to assessment. Number A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 11 years of age.


Cancellation Policy

Should circumstances mean that you need to cancel your course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply: • More than 28 days prior to the course start date – NGN5,000 administration fee • 27 to 15 days prior to the course start date – 50% of the course fee • 14 days or less prior to the course start date – full fee If you have previously transferred your course from an alternative date and now wish to cancel altogether there will be a 25% administration fee payable, further to the charges listed above. Cancellation must be confirmed in writing by email and received by the due date.
